| I am looking for 3.75 figures in ANY condition from ANY series, carded or loose as placeholders. My daughters birthday is first week in July & I would like to have as many as I can get, so she will have the joy of hunting down better pieces in her own time. She has a few things I've given her from my collection. She will be 14 this year & has asked me for pieces she sees online (high end examples). She sits in front of the computer and STUDIES the different versions, so when we go to yard sales, she can sniff out the toys. Wish I could get her to study that hard in history. LOL I don't know how much would be fair for pieces that are less than collectable, but if you have extras laying around, maybe we can work out a deal. With 100+ figures made, it may take awhile to get something complete & together. If there was (for example) Jawas released in several different series, then I would need that many Jawas. Then we can tag them from which series it's holding for so when she finds the C 8-9 example, she can swap them out & pass them along. If you have "other" stuff that you can part with cheaply, send me a message & let me know what it is & how much it'll cost. I would like to make this a birthday for her to remember. Thanks all! |

| If this helps get a kid into vintage collecting, then I will ship a bunch of loose figures your way for nothing but shipping. If you want to throw me a few bucks for beers after you get them, I won't decline, but as far as I am concerned, for $6 (small flat rate shipping box USPS) they are yours since my plans for them were to reintroduce them into the wild via various delivery methods anyway. PM me and I'll give you details of what I can send. If you agree, PayPal gift me the shipping cost and I will pack them up today and ship them tomorrow. Let me know. |

| I can help too - I give alot of my figures to kids in the neighborhood already . Maby each person who is sending figures can list or post a pic of what they are sending - between a few of us we can fill in the gaps without too many duplicates  I have quite a few Darth Vader cases too - if you want a case or 2 or 3 . The only drawback is they are kind of large and the shipping will be a little more . |

| I'm thinking it would be ok. as she sees ebay as the only "real" place & she doesn't really like the forums as much as the "visual" sites (ebay & SWCA, because it's less like school - ya know, not much reading & pretty pictures)
So yeah, lets do it. |

| OK... make sense to try not to duplicate when possible. They pretty much all are in good shape except DSD, CCP & Wally which have the most wear and/or joint looseness. No accessories except the TR's cape. cheers |

Called home & the box of mystery has arrived. The kids are so curious why they can't open my package Still waiting to hear back from ourchickenshack & arohk, but this is already lots of fun. Making the kids crazy, well, I guess it has to happen at some point. They do it to me pretty frequently... Yes, to the vader cases please, and just PM me the costs. I will be home Tuesday night, so I can get that sent out then. Using public terminals right now on the road, worries me to use my private information. |

| Wow James! Great looking bunch.
Looking forward to turning her loose on the hunt. She came to me earlier asking if she did extra chores, could she make some money... I asked her what for & she said "I want more guys in my collection"... it brought a tear to my eye.
She hates being left behind in anything, her brother has a job after school & on weekends, so he is constantly going to hunt new stuff.
But I told him what was happening, so he's going to root around in his more modern collection for some of the pieces he feels he can part with (his beaters...there was a firecracker incident & several figures that got worked over by him & his friends...anyway).
Thanks for all the help. |

YES! I remember my Rocket Firing Boba now! an M-80 strapped to his back, a parachute strapped to his back and a long climb up a tree over a stream by my house. Ahhhhh, to be young again!!!!!!!!! I sacrificed many an action figure (not just Star Wars) to firecrackers as a kid. It was just too tempting........ and AWESOME!!!!! |
