I'm not a variant collector, but this is sure a cool thread.

It reminds me of the FOTW threads that RS used to do. This is a very fun and informative read for sure! Keep the updates coming fellas!

I got it in a larger childhood collection with two other odd figures. So I believe in a factory error.

...the two hair colours are pretty much different imo. The one on the left looks more brown while the other one looks reddish.

Probably a ROTJ card that is marked "made in China" on its backside.

Hi NeonB, so far I've seen 'made in China' written on ROTJ and Trilogo cards (these were both on LukeXWP cards)

Tri-Logo Leia Hoth Cards are Made in Hong Kong, except the early ones produced in Macao.
I guess some ROTJ cards are Made in China.

I found a 79A card made in China- (in the Kellerman book) so to answer my question - I guess they are out there, but I think the US relesaed bar china figures are rather rare ..
