I wonder why the pink pale face Han Hoth is called PBP figure? They seem to be very common in GB. Here is a picture of my 3 no coo, remaining "made in" figures: figure on the left: pink face version, purchased in GB figure in the middle: pink face turning to pale face version figure on the right: pale face version, purchased in Spain Imo only the figure on the right is the true PBP version of Han Hoth. It has a pale blue plastic color for the body btw. Is there a "made in Spain" on the cardbacks of the two Palitoy MOC Han Hoth? Uli |

Uli I am completly agree with you Uli , i think that the pale colour is genuine to PBP figures(you can find it also on Luke hoth, Rebel soldier dark brown CCP etc), also you can find some kind of pale colours in others Kenner figures but they are more yellowish or pinkish... Cheers Javi |

| I didn't realise the 'name' change from Hoth outfit to Hoth battle gear. The working holster is great A few 'sculpt' differences are : scarf, belt buckle, pouch detail (next to buckle), emblem ... any more?? |

| Many thanks for pointing out the mould differences James. Here is a comparision picture of the 3 different Hong Kong versions that are the base for all variants (Hong Kong small, Hong Kong large, Made in Hong Kong): Anyone can see any other differences? The breast emblem maybe (space between the circles) or the breast pocket (size)? The large Hong Kong version for sure has a very thin (and long) right thumb. Uli |

it's just Hong Kong (large) not made in ... ? The MIHK has the six sided belt buckle like the molded leg Han Hoth. |

Cheers Javi Hello folks - thought I'd have a browse and found this thread The Palitoy/Clipper PBP Han Hoth figs have two different face paint jobs bright pink and pinky-pale. Thet are normally both packaged with the stormtrooper blasters and have a deep scarred COO. I was told that they were packaged in Spain hence PBP. They seem to be a general European release Although nowhere near as rare as the proper POCH figure they are harder to find than the regular Hans, and I assumed just another PBP issue Just to add to the thread here's a photo of the MIHK leg colours (minus the POCH fig) - generally the later HK figs have the long thumbs, mentioned earlier (41 back onwards off the top of my head) There are two scarf sculpts too, one sculpt has a deep groove behind the Han's head and just to show that regular Han's can come with stormtrooper blasters here's an error 48 back a lot of the 47 backs are packaged with Bespin blasters, which seemed a deliberate factory thing - it also explains why so many people think Han Hoth should come with a Bespin blaster and a miscard to finish - and sorry for boring you with all this Han Hothness |

Great info and pics spoons. Here's a pic of a couple of my 'made in' coo pink face Han's... Interesting to note is that they have slightly different leg colours plus the coo's are slightly different as well; there is a large scar/gouge on the pink face coo whereas the pale pink face coo is smooth underneath 'made in' Anyone else's like this? The pink face also has that lovely sweet pbp smell whereas the pale pink does not! so, spoons, are you saying palitoy for the pink face and clipper/pbp for the pale pink? |

| Hi Lee - your pale pink face one is interesting I've a loose pink and a loose pink-pale face and both have a proper scar. The leg coulours are slightly different. There is a no COO pale face but your one does look like the pink-pale/PBP version I've yet to find a proper pink pbp carded but the pink-pale faced ones can be found on the Palitoy 45 or 65 backs, with and without a clipper sticker. There are still more regular palitoy 45 and 65 backs out there so I'd assumed that the figs were PBP overstock sent to the UK, but I could be well off the mark here's a pic of the paint difference between my two (the one on the left is just an oddity). When I'm unpacked I'll have another look at the COOs and a pic of the neck groove I mentioned earlier |

Hi spoons, is this the same figure that's on that Tri-Logo in your opinion. just to add also, this fig has a scared COO. Also I think the Tri-logo is the PBP version so more to support the theories of him being made by PBP. |
