| Here's what I've been able to piece together John. This is all according to Mr_Palitoy's guide: Mr. Palitoy's Guide 70A- Is the Hybrid Tri-Logo. It has a front similar to an offerless Kenner card (65A, B, 77A, 79A) except it has the tri logo version of the Ages 4 and Up text (like on the Palitoy fronts). The back is what is considered the tri-logo portion. 70B- Is basically the "normal" Tri-Logo. 70C- Is basically the same as the 70B, except the race track around the figure extends further down the card. So basically the LFL copyright info is in the race track instead of underneath it. 70D- Is the barcode front version like you already mentioned. Hope that helps! |

| And there were only 6 figures released on the hybrid cardbacks: Greedo, Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, Bespin Security Guard (White), Cloud Car Pilot and Bespin Security Guard (Black). |

| Just remembered this old thread for even more trilogo variation talk -Trilogo variations
I really would invest in a book though, I didn't have it back then in January and since I did pick it up its been something I have on my desk at all times, even for a quick flick through its great but the information inside is second to none. |

| Actually Tri-Logo and Palitoy variants are dumb and really boring. I don't know why anyone would bother collecting them. |

This coming from the guy who used to say he didn't care for books. I'd also recommend the book if they haven't sold out yet. It's one that I for sure need to spend a bit more time reading. |

Ugh! Bubble variants! I know there's a few of them, but I have the hardest time telling the difference between them all. So for me, personally, I just want the square edged (or corners, or however you say it) and the rounded edge (like the Palitoy bubble) and I'm probably good to go. |

| The large "etched" bubble also exists in the same size but rounded thats why thats my normal "rounded" type Yep the book explains lots of overstock bubbles from the Meccano ROTJ figures were carried over to the early French Trilogo cards. Just like Palitoy bubbles. |

| See I told you I was terrible with my bubble variants Joe. Simple terms, it has to be simple for me to understand! It's like talking to a third grader! |

| So excluding the old Meccano bubbles -the etched and rounded are the easiest to find of ALL the variants , between the two the etched is by far the easier to find and both are mostly on 70b's / C's. These are the same size but as the names suggest one is completely rounded and the other has the edges/ridges/etched parts lol Here is the rounded - Here is the etched - The rounded one you and I just spoke earlier about would be an early French Trilogo and not a normal rounded, so there are in fact 2 kinds of "rounded" but both are different shapes/times. Although I don't know 100% if an RC has a rounded but if you can find an etched you can normally find a rounded, they seem to exist in quite equal numbers and were probably produced at the same time.

| A little? As I told you in chat the rounded edge I'm talking about is the part that attaches to the cardback. I can't wait to see your new photos though! So maybe I can finally figure this one out! |

| OK so me, Chris and Shawn, talked this over in chat, Chris was referring to the plastic that is attached to the cardback (The plastic part that is heat sealed) and I was talking about the actual edges of the bubble that holds the figure and doesnt quite touch the back of the card, thats whats normally referred to as the bubbles edge. A few pictures later Chris has a new variant fetish Looking forward to seeing what you have at home Chris, I reckon its etched (or stepped/spooned/scooped/aerodynamic as you want it called lol) |
