| Chris While the best item is easily the 1st gen Vader what a nice overall collection. That 2nd/3rd Gen set is only missing a few guys right? I've seen a bunch of these and wondered where they ended up. It's nice to see they got a good home. Nicely done sir, nicely done! |

| Thank you. I was wondering if you remembered that Vader. I wish I was only missing a few of the 2nd/3rd Gens. Now I understand why Joe said it would take forever to get a full set with all the variations. I was going to sell off one of the 1st gen stormies until I seen that they were two different paint apps on them. |

| FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUGLY! Great collection Chris, it was such a shame when you had job problems earlier this year and sold a lot of your stuff off but I am really glad you are getting back into things and you held on to the pieces you liked the most, I don't have even one bootleg so you sure beat the shit out of me on this one Where do you want to end up , as big a bootleg collection as JoeY?? From what I have seen and the amount of diferent gens, countries and variations there are , bootleg collecting could well go on forever and a day! |

| Thanks guys. Joe, the problem is still there, :crying: but I'm dealing with it. I just set alittle cash back to put towards some items every now and then. I wish I could have a collection like JoeY's, but I'd have to take over his job for that. This time I'm going to go slow with everything. Before I was just scooping up everything I seen. I'd love to have some carded Hungarian and Uzays, but I dont see them anytime in the near future. Jay, I'm designing a display at the moment for them. The shelves are going to be on a lean alittle so the figures wont fall over or anything, like a 15 degree angle or so.I will go after production items also. I want to figure out what area I want to start at, like US release or foreign release. Last time I just went nuts buying up everything I seen, not caring about what it looked like, like a newbi. Now that I've seen whats out there, I know how to choose better items to make a nicer collection and display. I'll still get bootlegs when the price is right (like $10 for a carded Headsman ), but I will take the time to get the best piece I can find to add to the collection. |

| Great collection of bootlegs Chris.
I am looking forward to seeing your new display ideas mate as It's really difficult trying to display bootlegs.
I'm trying to come up with an idea for displaying my Trems. |

Stands Hobby Lobby stores sell them too. Although, I haven't seen them in black. I picked up mine for $.99 each after I saw Darthberizing's limelight. They are very nice and make the bootlegs look much better! |

| I might go ahead and get some of those stands. I'll make the display a whole lot easier to figure out. So thats going to be my New Years project now.
As for the mask, someone on RS said theres a white one also, but I haven't seen it yet. And unfortunatly, the bag is ripped on both sides so its no longer sealed. The seller had the white large Stormie shoved in the bag with it in the auction. |

| I think I'm gonna get some of the stands aswell.
I was gonna look at some sort of angled perspex riser for the Trem's and Hungarians but these will take up much less space.
Thanks for the link mate

| Thanks Emiel. All this stuff is left over from the first go round that I couldn't let go. I got a Japanese Armored Walker model also, but I need to upgrade it. The box is tore and the model has been put together.
I'll be getting back into the swing of things next year with production items, along with adding more to these. |

If i were to make a figure in my house... does that make it a collectible bootleg??? That would make it a custom. A true bootleg is a figure that came from countries like Poland, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, etc. that didn't have an offical liscence to produce toys for the kids at the time. Heres the header for them on SWCA. "Bootlegs toys and other Star Wars collectibles were made primarily in countries where Star Wars was not commercially released in theaters. Most Star Wars bootlegs originate from the eastern bloc countries: Poland, Hungary, and Russia. The most notable carded bootlegs are Turkish UZAY carded figures. They also issued a couple of mini-rigs. The card photos for these figures show a cheesy images of the action figure in a pose, some with pyschedelic backgrounds." There are alot out there that have been found and most likely the same amount not discovered yet. What makes them so cool are the weirdness of them. But the biggest thing is the hunt for them. Some appear often (like most of the Polish and Mex/SA ones), but the rarer ones (Brazils Model Trems, Turkish Uzays, and the Russian ones) come up once in awhile, which makes them more expensive. |

| Yes I did. I thought it represented the hobby well when I seen it. I was up to 2 a.m. this morning watching and when I seen it, I had to have it. Let all scammers beware! Plus I got to rep one of my fellow statesmen, I'm originally from Penn. |
