I am eagerly anticipating the World Cup draw here in a few hours! This could be quite the tournament this year.

The premier league doesn't interest me. But the World cup on the other hand..... C'mon Australia

I stopped following league football a long time ago but I am with you guys, World & Euro cups are AWESOME!

I love the fact that you apparently aren't a "real" football fan if you don't follow a team and are just "hopping on the bandwagon" when its a big cup!

I'm really pulling for the Netherlands this year! They came soo close last time around.

World Cup Groups

Got to say, the main teams REALLY stand out ... If England can't beat their way out of their group we really don't deserve anything LOL.

Can only see Portugal coming close to hurting Brazil out of the big names, most of them have it easy with the exception of them and perhaps the Netherlands/Denmark group which could be hard to choose at the moment.

Looking forward to seeing England scrape by the group stage then get knocked out in the next round by the first bit of hard competition LOL

Actually for being an American, I can't stand US soccer! That's why I'm an official supporter of the Netherlands and Germany!

Yeah , no offence to the US but as far as football goes you guys aren't too good ! Then again, it would be like us putting a baseball or American football team together and competing with you , not much hope !

No offence taken. The US soccer program has come a long way in a short amount of time. However, they are a set of individuals, they aren't a team. And worst of all, is they always seem to choke on the world stage. Especially Donovan! Ugh! That guy gets under my skin.

But yea, totally looking forward to this summer! The games are going to be a blast!

Don't underestimate the US team guys....i reckon they'll do well, they're well organized these days, as thier progress in the Confederations Cup demonstrated.
I'm looking forward to the WC, can't wait in fact. I've got 3 teams to follow in 3 different groups. Obviously Australia & England, but also New Zealand where i will be for the 1st weeks of the finals on a boys drinking/ski-ing/golfing/watching footy holiday.

Get in! I cant wait for the England v USA Game i think both teams have a chance of qualifying to the knock out stage as well

Well another shitty display from Boro again its sad to see us fall from cup winners and european finalists to mid table 2nd tier football.

On a more positive note its good to see Arsenal back in the title rare and I really hope wenger gets some silverware this season Arshavin is outstanding.

I cant believe that Mark Hughes has been sacked by the city owner 6th in the premiership with a game in handf and in the semi final of the League Cup against Man Utd.
