I played for years! From rec/club level all the way to varsity high school. I almost went to college to play as well, but didn't like any of the courses available at the schools that came calling. I've also coached for years. I love the game! It's in my blood!

Absolutely CANNOT wait for the WC! You all just have to promise to not spoil the games for me this year. I'm going to have to DVR the majority of them.

and i do enjoi playing a game amongst friends

i just cant get into it like lots of people here in belgium

i mean some guys are really fanatic fans , not really players them self , but massive fans of some players

we got a thing here called the blue army , but it feels more like a group of holigans then fans

but i can assume they have even more fanatic fans in the uk

now i do see myself being a bigger fan of nba or nfl also basball , but none of them exict in belgium , i do plan on seeing a game of each when i do get to visit the states

I'm sure we can find a trophy or something for the winner!

I'm not sure Spain has what it takes to take home the trophy this year. Some of the South American teams look tough, and you can't count out the spoilers in Africa. I'm just hoping the US gets out of the group stage (doubtful, I know).
