Hey guys. Bit of advice here.

I'm looking at buying something on ebay. The BIN is $100, but there is a "best offer" option. I offered $60. The seller has just counter offered with $80. I've Is that it? Do i have to accept that or nothing? It is possible/acceptable to go again (& offer say $70?). I didn't even know they could counter offer tbh....

What would you do?

I'm pretty sure you can counter offer again- but you might have to wait for the 48 hours to expire?
Will you kick yourself if you miss out for $10?
I had the exact same numbers for some boardgames- BIN $100, I offered $60- counter offer from the seller of $80
I let it expire & missed out

hi mate you can make upto 3 offers you have 2 more left you can make those offers anytime

and he can counter offer a maximum of 3 times

Cheers for the replies. I know i can make 3 offers, but i had not gone into the "counter-offer" side of things before. I wasn't sure how that affected things.

I didn't realise at the time, but i know the seller (under a different name) & i've now done a deal off of ebay now so i guess it's a mute point, but i'm still interested to hear replies should i come across this again.

Oh, & AJ, i used those figures as an example. It's a bit more than $10

Shouldve re-counter for $50.
