| As promised once the Outer Realm Facebook page hit 100 fans I'd post a pic never before seen on TIG. Well here it is: A complete set of all 20, 1st gen Polish MOC. They're flanked by some 2nd & 3rd gen carded, as well as the infamous MOC black Hothtrooper. Enjoy: Cheers Joe https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Outer-Realm/497026903676797 |

| Seriously Joe, that's just a beautiful display. It would be a dream to just have a carded Vader for me. |

| Joe
I'm really at a loss for words. I've yet to see one for sale in the wild, so putting them together is just amazing |

| It took me over 17 years from the time I bought my first one til I finished the set. 6 of the 20 are from the find James had a little over a year ago, and are restored. Restored meaning that the text that was typed on them by someone down the line was removed from the card front, and while those 6 are original card, original bubble and original figures, the staples holding the bubbles down are not orig. IF the opportunity to upgrade cheaply ever happens, I will, but I'm not really worried about it. The other 14 are all orig: original figure, bubble, card and staples. Now to find more 2nd and 3rd gen carded figs. Cheers Joe |

| Ha...and I thought there is maybe 10 of them around....in the whole world! Now look at this: A complete run! Unbelievable, unreal, shocking...what else can I say! And what a great fortune that at least one of each survived! There must be many one-of-a-kind pieces in that lot? Kudos and thanks for sharing! |

| Sweet set, the last I knew, you had like 6 of these. This gives me hope more will be found. And, now that you are out of the way, it gives us all hope we can add at least one to our collection.. |

Thank you, and everyone that's commented on the thread. And Fett..... Patience young Skywalker. That pic's 17 YEARS in the making. I'm sure I could pull up some of the early pics showing the humble beginings of my bootleg collection and you wouldn't feel so bad. You're just starting, pace yourself. Cheers Joe |

Thanks for the encouragement. I do tend to go a bit nuts when I find a new thing to collect. I'm what my wife calls "a completist" - I don't sleep well until I have a full run. For example: I also collect Sucklord fett-related figures (which may be a sin on these boards! ) but at least the sources for those are pretty well defined for me - and there are very few places to find them "in the wild." I'm sure with true bootlegs it takes more time to develop sources, learn to spot fakes, etc. Like you said, I just need to do that -- go slow for my own sake... and for my wallet. |

| Some of those Sucklord figures are hilarious. VERY popular also, by the looks of things. |

| True enough - hilarious, popular, and (sometimes very) expensive... unless you have expert timing at when and from whom you buy... Which I like to think I am gaining. I even buy doubles to trade now and then when they are cheap. Now if I can only get that good with European and Mex/SA bootlegs! |
