Looks like someone wanted a cheap Ledy CCP and painted those hands & feet! If you look close enough there's light yellow paint on the worn fingers Sad

I have a bunch of the 3 3/4" GI Joe figures (Dad had a few vintage from the 60's) and yeah, not sure why they continued to use the rubber bands. Many of my early 1980 GI Joe's have broken bands, which would otherwise be in good condition. I just wish I hadn't 'battled up' my vehicles... a 7-8 year old with hot needles, matched and fake blood = worthless items that would be worth something!

Being older than you , I played a lot with 12" Action Man and 12" Joes as a kid. We use to drill thebody with hot needles and use red paint too tongue (Kids never change!)

Then I started collecting them.... :I am stupid:

You're an old man compared to me Wink

In here Oklahoma, we are home to the "Action Figure Museum", which is in a small town of Pauls Valley (how a town of 6,500 people in the middle of Oklahoma is where the Action Figure Museum is still a mystery to me, but I like it!). The museum has a HUGE 12" GI Joe collection which has complete battle scenes set up. It's really neat.

I've only been there a couple of times, but plan on going again soon with 'fresh eyes' on what they have. There is a bedroom set-up that has about 10,000 figures alone.

This is the website for the museum. You might be able to see some of the G.I. Joes and stuff in some online tour pics. I have never been there either, but I went to college in Ada (a nearby town) and had heard of this museum before.
