I'm in the process of putting together a minty DF R2-D2 as well!!!

Ive bought two so far... each one of them around $25.00.

I am awaiting a 3rd one via trade from Hyver!!!!

The toughest part is finding a minty dome!!!!!!

Gone are the days where one could find vintage items at the local comic shop. Gone are the days where one can find a great deal on the vintage items needed to round out a collection. That's when you remember that the Internet is a double-edged sword.

The seller is having a huge win. All his stuff is going way over the odds IMO. $160 for a droids C3PO- MOCs are less $26 for the GDE Falcon box is cheap but add $125 postage- ouch

Yes he is. I can't believe I just saw a loose regular R2 go for $81. It was nice, but for that price I would rather it be MOC or in a baggie.

But anyway, I gotta look at the bright side. The R2 does look good from the pics, and I just won a Marion Ravenwood for only $9 more. It'll be so nice when all my purchases arrive. Only a few Indy figs to go, and my SW set is almost complete.

Do any of the methods that customs uses actually harm our items? Will that vinyl cape Jawa arrive glowing in the dark? Will the 12 back Vader get scratched by their scanners?

Have you had any thoughts as to where you will go next in your collecting Tray?

I hope to go next to a selection of Vintage vehicles. Just the ones that really matter to me, I'm by no means trying to "get it all" in the vehicles department. I would love to have a Vader's TIE with box, a replacement Tatooine Skiff (Mine has a cracked rail that I glued back together. It looks great, but I have the knowledge that it is broken), a Droids A-Wing, etc.

I'd also like to get the last few Indiana Jones figures I need as well. There's always something, heh heh.

Love the Micro Falcon box looks in sweet condition!

It is sweet! It was one of my favorite pieces back in the day, then it fell victim to the ex wife's thievery. So, I was so happy to get this one which is a hundred times better than my previous one. It has the insert, booklet, instructions, "Revenge" flyer, and the figures are all still sealed.
