| No no no, it was ME that "doctored" the marion pic I posted here. I was so mad that she was missing paint on her nose that I couldn't share that with everyone! The seller has not replied to my request for a partial refund, though. |

| I put an offer in on a Marion with a great paint job, so we'll see how it turns out. I wonder if I'll be able to unload this one.... |

I didnt read the whole story, but if you refer to the pic above this is clearly no paint rub on the nose! The material the head is molded is flesh colored, hair and eyes are painted.....it looks like so on the photo to me. so the spot on the nose is: a) in the material....kind of material error or a spot from degradation b) on top the material and you can remove it. (Try soap/shampoo and rub a few times over it with your finger nail....sometimes you can remove very tenacious stains.) Wolff |

| Well, I tried my fingernail. The black spot is now HUGE and the figure is worthless. Apparently this head's base color is actually black. I spent $80 for a hunk of crap, and the seller has not responded about giving me a partial refund. This sucks. |

| I am bidding on a Marion that has good paint, and still waiting to hear back from the seller that has sent me THREE Weequay staffs now instead of the correct Barada one.
I just got back from the doc and I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It explains the pain I have been in so long, but what a drag. |

| Y'know, I've been at this for a very long time. I absolutely love the hunt, and the people I meet along the way. But these days, now that the world is a smaller place, the negatives are piling way too high. Back in the day, it was toy shows, phone calls, and letters through the mail. It was a wonderful time, and filled with VERY happy results. Sure, with the advent of eBay, a lot of items were secured that would have been virtually impossible to get otherwise, but sometimes I am forced to ask if it was all worth it. The number of bastards out there that want to screw others and unload crap they wouldn't want has outweighed the decent ones one hundred fold. I don't think that what I want is asking too much. A decent DF R2 and a Marion that doesn't look like shit is not too much.
But, today, it seems that it is. Any seller that wants to unload shit they wouldn't want in their own collection has eBay now. Take some shady pictures, leave details out of descriptions, and voila. Some sucker will grab it soon enough.
Sorry for the soapbox speech, but after all I've been through, I am SO tired. |

| The correct Barada staff is supposed to ship tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.
Also, since the paint on Marion is now worse, wbobafett is wrong about the material. |

| Anybody wanna buy a blacknose marion? It's super rare and HTF! Anyway, the eBay seller (stellhorn3312) has apologized up and down and promised to send me the correct Barada staff. He also said he will include an envelope for me to mail back the incorrect Weequay staffs. We shall see. The seller (pearlporsche) in the Marion debacle has sent me a partial refund of $20 via PayPal. He didn't send it as a gift so it's actually 19 and change. I guess it's better than nothing, but I would rather start from scratch instead of seeing this figure day in and out. I guess folks are getting tired of my rantings so I'll shut up now. |
