| Hello, I've been looking for a complete list of all Ledy figures that were released on US ROTJ "Made in Mexico" cards? Does anyone know where I could find this? Thanks! |

| The thread I was looking for was discussing if a MIM figure MOC would be graded as a U grade Ledy |

| Isnt that thread in that link too? I think I seen it in there somewhere, or it was in another one I seen. I know theres a shot of a Vader that was ugraded where someone mentioned that it wasnt marked as a Ledy. |

I missed the link between VadersSW6's question and U-grading this early morning. Still do actually. But it is interesting to know that AFA doesn't label loose MIM figures as Ledy, though they are technically the same (within the boundaries of Ledy's small variations bandwidth off course). |

| Man, I had no idea there was a difference between MIM and Lily Ledy! I had just figured MIM meant that it was a Lili Ledy figure that the factory had used a Kenner card to package and ship out.
Learn something new every day!
In the case of Vader, though, the MIM figure is the same as the Ledy version, right? If so, is a Vader that came off of a MIM card somehow viewed as a "lesser" figure, even thought it's the same mold and accessories? |

If the U90 graded MIM figure was sent to AFA as a loose figure, would it have been graded as a 90 Ledy & potentially have a higher value? |

| The only way it would be graded a Ledy is if it had Ledy accessories with it. Most often, they are packaged with Kenner weapons. But they are know to be complete Ledys out there. This is one of them. If he ever falls off the card, Ill have a very minty Ledy Scout with Ledy blaster. |

Hi Chris, I'm currently in the process of building up a collection of MOC MIM figures on a budget. So far I have been lucky, the 5 figures I currently have all include Ledy accessories. I would never do it, but presumably if they were sent for U grading they would be classed as MIM. If they were sent to AFA loose they would be graded as Ledy. How daft is that? Does anyone know whether Paploo & Lumat are graded the same way? |

| The Ewoks are Kenner. They were only made in Mexico, so I dont think they would be graded as Ledys. Thats one of the mysteries of this collection, are they or not. I dont think theres enough info out there to determine if there really are any difference to tell for sure. |

| Thanks for the quick reply Chris! (+ points on there way) Personally I think AFA are complicating the issue. As collectors we all know & accept that Paploo & Lumat were only manufacured in Mexico, therefore they must have come from the Ledy factory, regardless of what cardback they are found on! I'm new to Ledy collecting, but IMO any figure produced in Mexico (that comes with Ledy accessories), should be classed as Ledy. |

| But which is the actual Ledy weapons for those 2? Thats the thing with them, theres no set example showing either, and, and or that it is a correct Ledy accessory. AFA complicated the collecting community when they started U- grading period. They never kept tabs on which cardback what figure came off of really. |

| Oh!, so does that mean the accessories for those 2 could have been made /supplied by Kenner? Interesting!
I hate U grading, but as you say AFA could have at least kept records or provided evidence for the association between figure COO & cardback. They can't even get that right! |

| I cant say thats fact 100%, but I know we were discussing it the other day on how to tell them apart. I just cant see a difference in it myself to be honest. |

| IF...and I mean that as bold as possible.....IF the Lumat and Paploo were only produced by LL factory....then ALL weapons are also produced in that factory....just common sense!
Note on the other MIM figures:
If you send figures to another country to pack them there and on their domestic cards, the question is: how do you send/export them??
Bagged with weapon.....or loose...one huge package of figures and another huge bag with rifles etc. ?????
The Wepaons and accesoories were mixed up on a lot of MIM figures...I agree!
A lot of "oldtime members" on RS still are totally convinced that also the figures are different! I dont know why to be honest! LL factory changed the figures paint so often that you cant tell wether its MIM or LL if you hold it in your hands loose!

I haven't seen any evidence sofar that these Ewoks were produced elsewhere, but I am open to suggestions. BTW: You might want to change Warok into Paploo, I know they all look the same, but ..you know what I mean. |
