Taiwan hoods from memory are more flexible hoods. I have a tri teebo ( folded MOC ) also with a 'white' hood.

That will teach me not to read the whole thread first. Ok so the hunt is on for a tri-teebo.

AJ, is that the hood I sent you? So when you say "still not convinced", does this mean you agree/disagree about the white variant?

| Haven't got your package yet. The pictures don't show it very well. The second from the left is very blotchy with both white & tan bits proving a tan hood can degrade. The MOC is a tri- folded crease the 'true' white hood. My definition of variant is it left the factory in it's current state, at the moment I'm leaning towards the white hood being a batch that is more susceptible to 'fade'. I've only ever seen one white axe ( I think Lee has it )

Well as the cat is now out the bag, the teebo hood is one of the faded blotchy one's.
