I found this on ebay the seller has a bunch of figs together including what he says are three figs with Telescope light sabers and a Vinyl Cape Jawa all for a whopping $1000. now as far as the Telescope light sabers where he has Telescope in quotation marks I believe he thinks they are the rare DT sabers that is just a guess but the big thing for me is the VC Jawa, now correct me if I am wrong as the only one I had was when I was a kid and ones I seen photos of on here and carded ones. But in your guys opinion does something look off with the cape for me the length is to short compared to all the others I seen. I for one wouldn't bid on it for that reason without the seller putting in writing that I would have it checked by a certified group to ensure it's 100% real and if not then I would be refunded the full amount. It's just one more reason I prefer to deal with the people on here.

Cape looks a fake for sure, wrong colour, way to thick and to short, its an early repro imo, but i could be wrong.

Sabers are all standard sabers, it looks like a $30 set of beaters at best.

I just sent him an email telling him good luck on selling that fake Vinyl Cape on his Jawa I have my doubts anyone would buy it.

His neighbor worked for the company and would bring them home to him. So please get your facts before assuming someone is doing wrong." So if she is so positive then why doesn't she send it to AFA at least then a person would be will to drop that kind of cash

LOL i might send her a gentle good humour wind up too, the thickness of the capes the first dead give away, ive had a few fake jawa VC's over the years, the early ones always have that thick cape, unless its a ben cape, its 3 times the thickness, the colours miles off so is the length, shes dreaming...

Just wanted to bump this thread as I recently purchased this lot of figures. I had been watching the auctions for this lot as it went on and off of eBay - unsold each time. I recently reached out to the seller and inquired if she still had the figures, and she did. We worked out a deal (way less then they had been listed for) and I can say now having it in hand that the VC Jawa is 100% legit and in excellent shape.
The story of them coming from a former Kenner worker is also being confirmed - I'll update that portion when I find out if the name I was given checks out.

The one on the left is the one in question and the one on the right is the VCJ from my collection. Arm holes, fit, color and material - all are correct.
