Hi, I am new to the forum, from South Africa. I bought a friend of mines collection of the loose figures that we used to play with as kids. In the collection was a Jawa with a cloth on it that his mom had made. I took off the cloth and found a Vinyl cape. I have no reason to belive that its not the real deal, Its our childhood toys. He just kept them in much better condition than i did. I bought about 20 loose for about $200 so he wasent even trying to pass it on as a Vinyl cape jawa. I think i may just have hit the jackpot. I did all the test, the scratch, the armholes etc, and compared to Obiwan, it looks genuine.

I can't wait to see pictures too. I think the idea that the mom made a cloth cape to go over the Vinyl Cape is a great story in itself.

It looks like the home made cloth cape did a great job of protecting the vinyl one. The condition looks superb.
