Hey Tray, I hope you can get your vision sorted. I can only imagine what you must be going through right now. All the best. I do have to ask though, was this an original sticker that came with the DF R2? This is just my opinion, but I don't think the seller should take a hit because you decided to stick it on and it flaked like that in the process. You got it as it was described and then altered it by putting it on the R2. We are talking about a 30 year old sticker here. Hopefully some other members will share their thoughts as well before you landblast someone. Maybe I am interpreting things wrong. |

| Yes, the sticker is original. I guess it's open to interpretation, but if I sold something that proved to be sub-par, I'd offer some of the money back for the trouble. That's just me I suppose. If the situation were reversed, I'd like to think that I would treat it that way. I would at least respond to emails for sure. |

| Did he sell you the stickers knowing your intent was to put it on a droid? Perhaps he was selling the set for someone to complete their playset?
I think its just one of those things dude, I mean he wasn't to know that when used it was going to crack, its not something you can plan for when the item is unused for 30 years.
Sometimes these things happen, I would put out a bounty on a neat complete one and hope for a bite! |

| I don't have the means to get a replacement, so I'll have to put up with this one.
I have also decided not to pursue getting a partial refund. He most likely did not know the sticker was going to do that.
Ho-hum. |

1st off, hope the doctor gets you in the right direction dude. It's great having you here!
Glad you made the decision to back off the sticker. I equated it to buy a 1974 Topps Baseball Card Wax Pack and then being upset that when you chewed the gum it was stale. After 30yrs all bets are off when it comes to using the item as originally intended. |

That wax pack gum was bad enough when it was new. lol Although I do remember enjoying sniffing the cards afterwards for the gum smell. Almost as good as the smell of a new vintage figure. I think you made the right choice Tray on the sticker. However, I do think the seller should have gotten back to you on your question about it by now. |

| Just got back from the endocrinologist. He is going to try some meds on me to ween off of the insulin injections, so that is good news. My eyesight has gotten a little better over the last couple days, but I am nowhere near 100^. I am so tired. |

| The doc has me on some new meds and my blood sugar level still requires that I take insulin shots, but at least it is getting more under control. I'm able to see things on the big TV better, but it's still a long road ahead. |

| I got an email from my doc's lab that shows my bloodwork results. Not good. There are some very bad numbers from what I could see, so I'll be talking with him soon for sure. This thing is far from over and the bad news seems like it will never stop. |

| I can read! Well, sort of. My eyes have improved a little, so I reduced the zoom on my monitor and I can actually see most of the letters. Things are still a bit hazy, but definitely an improvement. Finally, some good news. Now, I just have to prepare for discussing my bad bloodwork results Monday. Also, I looked at my complete loose figure collection on the wall and was able to focus! Wow, impressive collection if I do say so myself. |

| Thanks matey. I'll report back after the appointment. Basically as it stands right now, I am a 1.5 Diabetic instead of just a 1 or 2. That is because I have to inject AND take the pills, at least for now. |

| Taking the pills is Type 2 buddy. Type 1 is when the pancreas does not work at all and insulin has to be injected. I am right in the middle, having to inject AND take the pills. Pain in the ass indeed. |

| Just got home. What a nightmare. It turns out my endocrine system is WAY fucked up. I've had to add several medications to my already ridiculous cocktail. Good grief. |
