Hi Everyone,
First post here. I've been trying to set up my collection for display after many years in storage and have been visiting the forum regularly to check up on variants. I just noticed this figure among my AT-AT Drivers and I am not sure what to make of it. I haven't been able to find any images online of a bootleg or prototype with black boots, black gloves (worn off on mine), black shoulder pads (worn off on mine), and / or a black belt design. Given the sculpt and the COO, I have doubts it's a bootleg, but I've also never really seen a prototype with the this kind of pallette detail. I guess it's possible that I somehow bought someone's custom work in my 90s childhood of flea markets and buying whatever I could find. The boots just look really authentic though. And the leg sculpt doesn't have the same pockets and such of an amputated AT-AT Driver. It would have to be a really nice paint job if it were custom. It does feel sticky so probably. Any thoughts?
