Hello, I am new to forums and to SW original collecting (my mum left all my figures and playsets in an attic when we moved house!   ), so please forgive me if my etiquette is incorrect or if this is posted elsewhere!

I have recently purchased a group of original SW weapons from an eBay business seller. Having studied the items they all look, feel, pass the drop test, float test and an led light test shows no light (opaque), they also match to the TIG identifications... However,  a "true black" Imperial Blaster (presumably for the Luke Stormtrooper) has caught my attention and now I am not sure that it is genuine... cause for concern as the whole batch could be repro now... I do hope I have not been hoodwinked.

Alas, I call upon the vast expertise of you fellow collectors..

Please Please can you help?!?

Forgot to mention...... The indentation on the "front handle / clip" looks to have a "blob" in the corner?!?
