Good Morning All:

I just managed to find, what I think is, a DT lightsaber Vader in the wild and would like some advice on if it might be real or not.

It came from a Facebook Marketplace ad from a guy who was selling a bunch of loose figures - he did not seem to know a lot about the figures (which leads me to believe he would not be buying repro items). I bought this Darth Vader for $12.

The tip end is flat and what is left of the smaller piece does move in and out (only a fraction of the smaller tip is exposed when pulled out - and it is very fragile).

There does not appear to be any letter markings on the hilt of the saber. There is a hole that goes through the entire saber from tip to back end.

Is there a way to know definitively if this is legit?

If so, is AFA the best approach to grade it?

I asked the Rebel Scum forum and some thought it was legit and others thought fake (a ReValveiT Pre "II" markings).  Would love to know from this group thoughts?
