Reseal or Not? Empty
PostSubject: Reseal or Not?   Reseal or Not? I_icon_minitimeTue Nov 26, 2019 2:31 am

I have a 31 back ESB Tusken Raider that I suspect is a reseal, but I need some help. As you see in the pictures, there is NO waffle pattern present on the bubble seal. I know this is not uncommon with ESB carded Tusken Raiders, but I am also not 100% sure that this is not a reseal. despite the lack of waffle pattern, the bubble seal is very clean and shows no sign of glue, misalignment, or tears/imperfections, which leads me to believe this is could be factory sealed.

However, the figure itself has two imperfections that give cause for concern. There is a red hue/tint on the cape. I have seen this discoloration on other factory sealed Sand People, so this may not be indicative of a resealed figure. However, there is also a small cape tear near the figure’s left shoulder. I have not come across other factory sealed figures with cape tears, which is suspect.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
