Anyone fond of boardgames with LOTS of miniatures out there? I´m currently pledging Joan of Arc, and hoping to get someday Rising Sun, Rum and Bones and the Blood Rage exclusives.

I´m planning on buying Imperial Assault (due to the wonderful minis basically) and maybe Armada. Do you have any of these? Do you recommend them?

Might check out a few of these. I am not a big board game guy, but these look pretty cool.

I got Imperial Assault and a ton of expansions for it. Also Star Wars: Legion. I too, pledged for Joan of Arc, what a fun collection of minis that is. I feel obliged to point out that the minis are not historically correct. I only feel the need to say this because the developers go out of their way to falsely imply that they are.

I painted all-Hoth armies for Legion, IA is another story. I am now embarking on painting the Joan of Arc game. Starting by painting all the stuff for the intro scenario, then I'll build up a painted collection as we choose different scenarios to play. I should have it all done in a year when the 1.5 pile o' plastic lands on my door!
