the fake is in the middle, excess flashing along the mold seam, they float & have the dots that the other repros don't have.

Y-wing front guns. I need more info here. The bottom ones are light grey & fake & are molded in the same design as they are pictured on the vehicle box. I 'assume' real ones exist that look like this??????

Here are some pics of what I blieve to be a Taiwan Bib Fortuna belt/chest plate. It has 2 rather than 3 notches on the outside, & a distinctive circle on the inside with the letter 'F'.

From memory I have 4 different Yoda canes & I'm pretty sure that they all sink, but I'll test them again & post the results with the pics.

Speaking about Yoda canes and Snakes.... Here are mine, sorry could not take pics in daylight, so i hope these will do for now. (havent doen a float test on my canes, but i am sure they are all original).

Here is a comparasing picture from all 5 cane variations i have from light to dark:



- The first is a very light brown cane wich goes with the Light orange snake.
- The second is also a light brown cane wich goes with the dark orange snake.
- The third is a brown cane wich goes with the green snake.
- The fourth is a slightly darker brown cane wich goes with the brown snake.
- The fith is the darkest brown cane wich goes with the dark Lili Ledy snake.

I've float tested 9 Yoda canes which (based on current photos) potentially include the 5 variants posted by Dennis, & they all sink.

Dennis, would you be able to take some photos of the reverse side of the canes & underside of the brown snakes so that I can see which ones have mold circles. That way I'll know whether or not I have anything different to add.

Yes, Will Add some reverse Side pictures up later tonight and also perform a float test On my Canes and Snakes.

Still need to upload my pictures, but Here are my results for the floattest.

Canes, al float when placed on water and did sink when tapped upon. Will sink immidiatly when dropped into water.
Snakes, Orange snakes always sunk immidiatly. The Brown/green snakes Did float when placed on water, but sunk when tapped upon.

Orange snakes are a little harder plastic, whilst the brown/green snakes are more flexibel snakes. Is this with Orange and Brown snakes like this?

Yes! All of the orange snakes I have handled have been made from a fairly hard / stiff plastic. All of the brown snakes have been soft & very flexible.

There is a hard plastic brown snake ( released with the apple green Yoda?)

Luke Poncho belt - longer than Leias version with 3 notches.

It is defiantley no modern mold (Thats what I thought first). I have only found one pictured Y-wing like that in the net, but is it completed with those repro parts??? Who knows.....

I will definatley keep my eyes open for that front guns. Very interesting.

BTW: The Trilogo Box is showing the other front guns...the normal ones....funny....I think nobody ever noticed that this must be a total different fighter model!
