I'm fairly certain of the authenticity of these guys. The COOs are appropriate and exactly the same, and they both have tell-tale circles on their feet.





The first was obtained from a UK seller. The second came from a Spanish seller. They're not much different aside from the spray mask which has a sloppier mouth, and bigger eyes with paler blue center.





The differences in the figure obtained from UK stop there. But the figures differ in the paint on their pouches

UK on the right looks like a Kenner paint job, on the left is the figure from the Spanish seller with a unique glossy paint job. The shades of brown are almost identical too.

The question to my PBP collecting friends here is if this is a legitimate variation. Is it possible the figure on the right just lost its gloss? Any other information about cardbacks, etc. would also be awesome.

yes both pbp's . theres alot of pbp variation on chewbacca, its a legit variation . as far as cards go i have no idea .

Thats way too much for a pbp chewie , black pouch poch on the other hand ... well worth it
