| Could be that the head is the "softer plastic/rubber like" You can squeeze the helmet to see if it is softer Maybe is has fused to the torso being softer plastic due to some heat Leave it as is, I have snapped some of these softer heads that fused to the torso while tying to free it. The dent in the helmet more than likely occurred coming out of the mold before it cooled had some weight on it leaving the dent. (imagine coming out of an industrial mold machine, falling into huge crates, piled ontop of each other) The saber looks like the Kenner round tip, kenner round tip colour is more bright than others. Nice figure over all.

| Thanks for looking! Those are pretty much the conclusions I drew, but wanted to have a second opinion. The head surprisingly isn't soft, which I had checked for earlier. It's as hard as my other Vaders. I have no desire to try and snap it loose. I can just imagine it coming apart in my hand. I feel like I'm getting better at this vintage figure detective work.
Is the blank raised bar COO specific or shared by any regions other than the US? Or is it even a US release figure? That's something I haven't been able to pin down. |

| Raised bar Vaders is one of the coo that is used in more than one packaging With the saber it has POTF moc comes to mind The easiest way to tell the raised bar on card is the belt buckle, unique to the raised bar I thought it could have been the softer head, reason for it being stuck, greyish plastic is not uncommon with Vaders, various plastic batches would have been mixed different ways, more or less of a certain ingredient could change the pigment. |

| As always, thanks for chiming in Oscar. This vader has had some damage done to his feet I think. Likely someone forced him down onto a stand with a slightly larger peg, but oddly there also appears to be plastic shaved away from the sides of the holes also. |
