- Most of the cosplay was INSANE with detail. Really great to look at.

- The AT-AT and AT-ST, Jabba's Palace, and actual movie props were awesome.

- Seeing the actors/ actresses from the films and tv shows was cool as well.

2017 was my second Celebration... and I can't wait until the next one! For anyone that's never been, GO!

Do whatever you need to do to get there, allocate a monthly savings, get the family on board and make it a vacation... It's the Mecca, it's an event that brings the collecting/Star Wars passion full circle.

Pure happiness all weekend... The energy, the positivity, the jubilation... all so contagious. Watching people's faces light up was one of the best parts of Celebration.

Star Wars Celebration look great. I was gutted that I couldn't get to Orlando Celebration this year, but that was due to is spending a month in Florida this August so not all that bad.
I have already told the wife that I will be going in 2019, so hope it's somewhere good I'm hoping for Anahiem so I can visit Disneyland wile I'm there, I have even started saving up the money for it.

Really neat to see the pics Matt. Thanks for sharing. Cant help but notice no leia cosplay in the pics (besides the one that looks like  kid with an r2 transformer)? Wonder if her passing has people not wanting to dress up as her.

And prices are crazy. I see a carded Romba in one pic there for $125.........seems I know where some people might get one for free.

@Mike_Z Agreed 100%. I wish I had a little bit more time there, but I had a fully loaded weekend aside from Celebration. Would of been nice to hangout for a bit, though!

@Gorneesh I'm pretty sure this is the last year for Orlando. As far as I know, it was a 3-year contract that expired this convention. I heard a lot of chatter of how unhappy people were about the non-organized lines for merchandise, photo ops and autographs. As well as people wasting their time in which they had been there 4 days, but only had a chance to meet 4 celebs due to reedpop overlapping schedules. I.E. Delaying seeing Billy Dee Williams by one hour because he was busy at the photo op (which I experienced).

Hopefully wherever it is next, they run it better?

@trappedtexan My pleasure. There were actually a good amount of Leia cosplay (especially Slave Leia), but yeah, good point.

Prices were insane.

Awesome pics, it was my first time and can upload some pics if anyone is interested...there was a group of about 10 wookiees with incredible cosplay - they were all 6'5-7'5 roughly and just looked amazing.

The more pics the better. Many of us couldn't go and would love to see your adventures at celebration.

Hopefully this works, I am a technologically inept!

Very happy to get these patches today

Those patches are awesome! My pictures are somewhat of a blur since we drove 16 hours overnight to go straight into line for TLJ panel so planning wasn't our strong point but juggling 4 people's work schedules was our biggest hurdle.

All in all would do it over again 100%, it was an awesome experience and the Disneyworld Galactic Nights was incredible as well. I'm assuming since 2019 is the date of the next celebration date and that is also when the Disneyland/Disneyworld Star Wars parks are set to open that it will be in California or back in Orlando so I better start saving now.
