I won a bid for three 12" figures (Luke incl. grapple, C3P0 and R2) and some modern carded ones. The buyer seemingly never sent the item (or at least USPS never scanned the package). A month later I queried the shipping and he said the package was lost and immediately refunded me (which I asked him not to do until the location of the package was determined). A week after that he txt'ed me "good news" that the package was "found", and attempted to charge me three times the amount I won the bid for AND pay for FedEx to send the package again!

I suspect he wanted to sell it for more money than the bid went to, then lied about the package being lost so he could cancel the transaction.

He did say he'd list again so BE WARNED!
