I made up a new, small and inexpensive collection game.

I'm collecting all the different armors of Iron Man (space, stealth, hulkbuster, etc.) in their first appearance form. The only catch is that I have to find them in person..so no eBay or online shopping.

It kind of encourages me to browse stores new and old and adds excitement to the hunt again.. on top of only costing maybe $1-3 per book (so far).

Yeah that sounds like an awesome focus. I wanted to do this with toys so it was like a hall of armor, but I figured it would take up to much room.
Man the original red and gold armor and the first armor is going to set you back I bet. Of course the odds of finding them in the wild is slim.

That'll be my holy grail to end all holy grails (first armor, that is).

The first red and gold is gonna be in the hundreds for sure but I'd rather go after the dollar comics for awhile.

That hall of armor idea sounds awesome..but yeah, having no space would be a problem.

Who wants to share some comics? Anyone with love of comics show them off.

Also if anyone has a batman 222 (with the Beatles appearance) I have a friend looking for one and all my sources have turned up nada so far.

My local comic store is having a 50% sale off of all back issues this Saturday.. so expect to see some new additions and gems

Any comic book pickups lately?

I got a marvel legends x-men set that recently came out. I really just wanted the deadpool but had to order the whole set to get it as I missed the preorder for just that figure. Haven't broken them out yet, but they look pretty cool. For whatever reason I have really been into watching review videos lately of marvel legends and I found a guy who goes by shartimusprime who does really awesome reviews. If you like seeing toy reviews I recommend watching his as he adds humor and they are really well presented.

I've seen this guy before! He's cool.

As for your pick-up.. is it the Deadpool that's like, $50 solo on evil bay? If so, it's a great look!

I haven't had any recent pick-ups lately between SW or Marvel due to some financial situations, but I have my eye on a few things.

I collect comics!! Mostly x-men.. )) I have collected everything from their first issue in 1963, till current, including all their crossovers!! I can post some pictures here.. the more modern ones I put 3 to 4 comics per bag so some of the books could be behind. 54 years of x-men!

Comics are one of those cool things to collect. I will have to pull them out to get some pics but for me I mainly go for Ironman, G.I. Combat, The Unknown Soldier, Sgt. Rock and Wolverine comics. One of the best things about where I live is we have lots of comic stores both new and used we also have a few comic shows here per year. My wife also collects comics she has a large Archie collection she has been collecting for years between her comics and book collection I always dread having to move lol.

I collected comics for many years, then I got tired of them and changed to manga and anime. Now at the age of 45 I started with boardgames and miniatures. But going back to comics, I like the classic ones, NOT the new garbage from Marvel/Disney.

I bought two watchmen comic books, one I opened and ... I stained the book with wine ...
The second one is foiled and waiting for better times.
