ticket booked for 00:01am on the 17th, keeping it retro and going 2D

Bought my ticket!  I don't like 3-D so its 2-D for me.  I am thankful for this thread.  While I knew the trailer was coming out last night I had no idea the tickets were going on sale.  Luckily I was able to get mine before they sold out.

Anyone dressing up?

Got me ticket for midnight screening at fox studios,
should be fun watching it with about 400 others

I haven't bought a ticket quite yet, but I plan to do 2D, I'm still not huge on 3D. IMAX would be awesome, the closest one is 3-1/2 hours drive away, but I think it'll be worth the trip!

I prefer 2D to 3D, problem is that in our part of France all the corporate cinemas are showing 3D only for the first week I'll definitely be seeing it later as well when the indie cinemas show the original English language version.

That is an awesome trailer. Can't wait to see the movie, but won't be going for an opening night viewing.

I got my tickets me and a few members from our garrison are going on the 17th . And Jesse rumor has it the B.C. museum will be showing it on the Imax there and we will be trooping the event so if your in Victoria say around that time I have most of a costume that would fit you . I am sure the Imax in Vancouver would show it as well.

I'm so excited for this, but I have not brought my tickets yet, because I wanted to take my daughter so I will be seeing it on the opening weekend.

In all fairness that depends on how "good" the movie is.  Original trilogy good, yes multiple viewings.  Revenge of the sith good, maybe two viewings.  Phantom menace good, no full viewing demand money back and use it on drugs/alcohol/counseling to help you forget the little bit you had to endure.

We booked our tickets today for the 16th evening showing. Had to go 3D as no 2D showing until the week after. Looking forward to this

I think I will see it twice, 1st time with the daughter just to enjoy the film 2nd time will be when I go in all nerd like looking for every small little detail of costumes and props etc.
Will be in 2D as 3D gives my a headache after about 5 minutes
