Got you to look didn't it. For those who may not have noticed our very own Aussiejames has had a name color change. The story goes John went on vacation and needed someone to take the fall.......um I mean watch over things. He appointed AJ to the post of admin and when I saw it I congratulated AJ for it. I was told "it is only till John gets back". Well John came back and I had reached out to him over something else anyway, but we spoke a bit and he told me he was pleased with AJ. I said to him, I am just a pee-on but if it helps I think he did a great job (hey I am not suspended yet right) and told John that I for one would vote for AJ to remain. Seems we need an admin to handle things from time to time while the boss is away. Not to take away from our old admin as he is a great friend also.

I for one hope John listened (truthfully he probably already had it in his mind before I ever said a word) and AJ has been appointed our official admin. I want to congratulate him if that is the case and if he is not then this can be the place where we all tell John to make it that way.

Hope I am not stepping on toes with this if it was to be officially announced or maybe it was and I just stupidly missed it.

I made AJ admin before I left for vacation just in case things needed it. But there was a part of me that hoped he'd like the roll. So after speaking to him I'm happy to say that AJ will be the admin of the forum going forward!!!

I knew AJ was someone I wanted to be friends with when I saw the infamous self titled "Aussiejames is an idiot" post on Rebelscum. While some people didn't get it, I got it and knew this was a good dude to talk too. He's easily one of longest relationships I have in collecting now and I consider him a genuine friend.

That said, this isn't about friendship. It's about the site. When I think of who I'd entrust this site too AJ is easily the best guy for the job. He loves the hobby, is a great ambassador, and isn't good enough on a PC to do too much damage when he's in the admin panel. So that's a trifecta in my book.  Marco's shoes are tough to fill but I know AJ is the man to fill them.

So AJ I'm glad you're staying purple!!!!
