| I've combed the archives and references and can't find this. What's the difference between the big head and small head Han Solo? |

| Is one older, one newer etc? What version was the original 12 issued? |

| I believe the larger head was the second release if I recall correctly. The smaller was an earlier release and was phased out by the empire line i think. I may be wrong though. A solo focus collector would likely know more. |

| Hey Guys, I just snapped a pic of the two I had out on display for a closer look... I believe Bryan is right that the larger head is the second release... I could be mistaken, but the way I understood it Kenner quickly pulled the small head Han Solo and replaced it with the larger head, and both were available on SW cards, I just don't know about the 12 back for sure?... Hopefully, someone up here has the concrete details on this figure... By the way, I don't know about you guys but I kind of prefer the smaller head Han Solo... |

Congrats on the small head Han Broke! Picking up a small head Han Solo is never a bad idea imo, I have found that they are harder to come by and they are usually priced 10 or more dollars above the large head... With Vintage SW Kenner prices going up the way they have these past few years, I would imagine that he will only become tougher and more expensive... |

| I have always preferred the small head version. Not sure why it was panned. The big headed one always seemed kinda off to me, but I m am probably in the minority on that given the history lol. |

| To be honest I prefer the small head han as well. Neither are good likeness but the large head has always looked like an upside down pear to me and is just out of scale with the body in my opinion.
Most, if not all, the painted leg Hans are the small head variant. That's not the same as all small head Hans are painted leg variants so read the first sentence carefully. The painted legs original han is where the legs were cast in white and painted black as opposed to being cast in black. |

| I'm putting one in my new falcon when it gets here so I'll decide which one I like least and keep the best one on the display diorama |

Thanks for the info on the painted legs Han, had no idea about it... Will have to keep a closer eye out. - Broke, can't wait for your Falcon man! I think the small head looks best, it's a cramped cockpit and the small head just seems to have more room to breathe... Best of Luck with the ship man, I hope it comes in soon, and I look forward to pictures of her with her crew... |
