| The front part looks okayish but the back part is like nothing I've seen. Almost looks badly chewed or maybe even melted where it forms that flat 'disc' type section on the handle. |

| Any chance you can get a pic on a white background? Its touch to see a few things on that background.
The flexible bit sounds like a Taiwanese saber, but I can't tell based on the color of the saber and picture of the tip's transition. Although, at least on mine, under Purple or Violet LED it shines more towards the red/blue side but under Blue LED it maintains its yellow. Just FYI on mine.
cheers

| Looks very much like a Taiwan saber to me. Heres a pic of my Taiwan saber, the transition looks the same although yours looks a more intense yellow and a little more translucent than mine. My TW saber is very bendy like yours with quite a bit of flashing to the tip and hilt. looks like yours is just a little deformed. Also, although not all that clear to see in my pic, the TW sabers have a circle mould injection point on the hilt. Also my saber appears to have a letter H just above the circle. My TW saber floats in water, even when pushed under it floats back up. Hope this is helpful. " /> |

| Thanks, then it might be a taiwan saber, just played with. I noticed since it's so flexible the tip don't break easily so it's probably why it survived and the reason why it's so beaten up at back is because it bends when pushed out and it have been used a good bit. I'm going to heat it up and reshape the back of it a bit where it is so bashed up. Thanks for help |

| Hi, Taking photo of lightsabers are always a pain, could you try to take a better one? A textured background might help.
There have been very good repros like Revalveit http://dtsabers.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/stsabers.htm
Most repros I've got during the years are done in painted resin, which is very fragile and stiff. So they break easily. First test you can do is simply to hold them up to a lamp and see if light pass through them, if it don't its painted. Very easy to identify by touch and look and they sink like rocks in water.
I remember looking into uv-light before I got sick and couldn't be active anymore, thanks to a few other members on the forum we did get some results. I am not sure how it went after that.
On the photo which is hard to see, atleast the upper and bottom one looks legit too me, but can't say for sure in the picture. |
