| Just curious how many people go in for the Droids and Ewok lines?
I personally have no real interest in them purely as they played no part in my childhood and the figures and cardback images dont really do anything for me personally.
What are other peoples thats / views on them?
Cheers Jay

| It only interests me as a vintage related extension of my collection now that i have the 1st 90 odd sorted. Tbh i didn't even know they existed to a few years ago. |

| I have a few, but I'm not looking for more. There is no childhood connection for me. I've never seen the cartoons. But I'd always make room for a Vlix in my collection |

| I'm the same - not much interest here. Wouldn't say no to a carded Droids Fett tho. But that would be so far down the want list its likely to never happen. Oh, and I could be convinced to get a loose R2 and 3PO from the droids line, but only for a decent price.
Zero interest in the Ewoks line - couldn't even tell you what figures were in that one. :?: |

| I never had any interest at all in collecting the Droids or Ewoks series, they are not Star Wars figures to me. I do like the Droids C3-P0 and R2 because I love variants and have each one MOC, I would like a loose example of each but loose ones cost almost as much as carded ones.

| I do like these, I have limited memories of seeing or having these as a kid but I did watch the Ewoks cartoon, can't remember much about it but definitely saw it as a kid, then when I got collecting again and found out about these I bought a droids DVD.
Not great cartoons and probably zero nostalgia in all honesty but the figure sculpts are pretty cool and the droids line is really colourful, nice extension to a loose collection once you complete it as Tim said earlier. |

| I had zero interaction with either line as a kid so there was no trip down memory lane for me. I did get the R2 and 3PO because they looked neat and then , out of boredom, collected the Droids line MOC becuase I just needed a change of pace. As for the Ewok line - NEVER |

Same here. I read the comics, maybe watched some but don't remember (too long ago). I'd like to get a set of them up one day. |

| They have gained my interest over the last few years. I think since completing my basic loose set of movie figures, they seem like the next logical step. I also like the colors and cardback art and they really do represent the end of the Star Wars toy line. So much in that there is a whole series of unproduced figures that almost made it out the door. |

| I like the Droids figures more than the Ewoks figures, but I like the card art of the Ewoks figures more. Especially the unproduced figures.
I don't foresee myself collecting these anytime soon, but if I were, it would be the Droids hands down. |

| I love the Droids and Ewoks stuff, sure it holds almost no credit to the original trilogy but as for star wars collecting as a hobby goes it is part and parcel of Kenners grand design. The Droids cartoons were pretty lame, the ewoks not much better but the toys that Kenner produced from the cartoons were great figures, fun and colourful even the A-Wing ship used to be kind of a legendary piece when I started out collecting, rare and exciting to see one if you were lucky enough at a convention, also the whole mystique surrounding Vlix being released only for a limited time in Brazil and becoming the rarest liscenced vintage figure. The whole droids and ewoks franchise really stand as a trademark of the end of the whole era, the final projects and craftmanship for the Kenner sculptors and artist to embark before there is no more to give. Plus who wouldn't love a set of these... |

| Well i have no intrest in the Droids/Ewoks line, i do however haver the droids C3PO and R2 in ly collection as they are made with the same molds as de the C3PO and R2 from the original figures (rem. limbs and pop up saber) But Adam, a set like that gets everyone dreaming. Is it yours? If it is... |

| I wish that set was mine, its Gus's I think there are only his and one other set complete with all correct weapons. I could be wrong though. They are stunning figures and all grails to me |

| I don't have any interest in either line but I do really admire a set like that because of the rarity of it.
If I won the lottery and got every other piece of vintage sw merchandise made I would defintitely add this to the collection also! |

| You would have to find them first and they just dont seem to come on the market any more. There was a complete set of unproduced ewoks for sale a while back, a steal at $12,000....which is actually a really good price IMO. |

Yeah that's what I was afraid of, but I'm sure I'm going to hit that lottery any day now!! |
