So you thought you owned all the Bounty Hunter Capture Logs?

Well you may just need to think twice as UK based Palitoy released no less than four different versions of this lealfet between 1981-82. In terms of rarity the removal of the "Available June 1981" dates inside the 1981 revision 2 leaflet may be a clue to when they were released. This alteration would indicate that the original 1981 and revision 1 leaflets had a limited print window of 5 months (January-May 1981). It's likely the 1981 revision 2 was released in June and would indicate that this revision had a minimum print window of 7 months up to the end of 1981. The 1982 revision was released the following year until the promotion had ended and appears to be the most popular revision in circulation.

So the left hand internal page on the '82 leaflet also stands out a mile but the eagle eyed amongst you will notice the price increases for the Vader Collectors case postage from £6 to £7 and then £8. Oddly though in the 1981 2nd revision Dengar value decreases from 30p to 14p.

he he, I just went to check mine, in case it was the fourth, mystery, variant.
But mine is the '82 release

There's no daylight left for photos, but some clues....

1. It's a UK/Palitoy item with enlish only text
2. It fits between the timeline of the three already posted
3. It has a different layout on the back
4. It has altered text inside the leaflet

Great thread. I didn't know there was "variants". I have 2 in my collection but they are both the same (number 1 on the left). I have also cut out Boba's head, do you know where they come from?
