Here is a few colouring books that I have. I apologize for some of the pictures. They are not blurry, they are still in the original factory sealed plastic and it's hard to get a good picture. Thanks, I wanted to get some names together as I was curious about the early artists who made covers for SW books and records.
I think there was a large pool of artists around the world who did these covers + posters etc. Most seemed to be fantasy artists for hire. For example Jean Frisano did some of the French work. John Berkey and Wotjek Siudmak did early work too. And just about everyone knows the great McQuarrie. Now I can look up Ellis and Schmidt

Paul, that's an interesting idea. I would like to see where that leads too. Maybe there is some original Star Wars artwork by these artist out there that can be picked up for cheap. That would make an interesting "World of Odd" focus.

The seller said that it is:

1981 The Star Wars Storybook from Thailand. Size 21.6 cm x 27.9 cm x 0.5 cm thick (8 1/2" x 11" x 1/4" thick)
It has a nice glossy front and back cover, but the inside pages are news print. Same number of pages as the licensed version. Some of the pictures have been rotated.

Don't know of any Thai SW stuff out there apart from some movie posters. Good chance it is bootleg as seller said.
Does the licensed version have glossy inside pages and colour pics?

The Star Wars storybook was from a collector in province of Quecbec.  So I'm assuming it is the French Canadian version.  I can't seem to find any information about it.  If anyone else can help, or has any more information, it would be greatly appreciated.  Now to find a copy of the Empire Strikes Back, French edition.
