| I'm just going to say to be cautious dealing with BobaBrett. We had a deal unwind because he essentially changes terms after the sale is made and frankly was difficult to deal with.
He has an Irish 3 Pack for sale on Ebay for double what it's worth. I contacted him and tried to make a deal on it. After it no-sold twice I offered more than fair market value. He offered it to me for more than his listed opening bid (but that's fine) but eventually I showed that if I'd bid he would have cleared "X". I then offered "X" and he said yes if I'd pay by Paypal gift. I reluctantly agreed but made it clear that I expect it to ship and arrive safely as his responsibility (since I couldn't open a claim). While I was going into Paypal I get a PM saying that he can only do that if he declares full value on the item. I said no problem.
I get a PM saying that if I'm willing to pay import taxes I should be willing to pay more than the already agreed on price!!!!! After a quick reply that we have no VAT in the states, he backed off.
I then get a PM saying he'll ship it without tracking (but somehow insured). I wrote back that it's his decision to do that but it's again on him. At this point I got very nervous and paid as regular payment and paid his fees as something smelled rotten.
I then get a PM today saying if it's damaged in transit he's not responsible and I can accept that or get a refund. You can imagine my choice on that one.
And did I mention that it was re-listed on Ebay while this was unwinding for double my agreed price?? Classy.
Although my refund is pending (I don't think it's his fault) something about this whole experience was bizarre and I'd say if you deal with Brett be very cautious as terms and conditions seem to have no bearing on him. I don't think it's a coincidence that he basically put me in a position to have to back out. I assume it's either damaged already or, despite it not selling twice on Ebay, he thinks my offer was unfair (even though it's exactly what he would've cleared on Ebay where nobody bid)

| The one with the 3 POTF figures John?, been watching it myself, but thought there was something fishy about it & backed off myself.
Sorry to hear you have had such a mare with this, seems to go hand in hand with sellers of high end SW items for some reason  |

| John,
Sorry that it didn't work out for you - hopefully you can get a full refund and another will turn up one day.
If it any consilation not all sellers of high-end stuff are nightmares to deal with...
One of my buyers has just safely recieved his £1000+ POTF coin and he was very happy and another will get his coin stash tomorrow. Both were sent registered and fully insured and both recieved an emailed photo of the postage reciept with tracking info to give them peace of mind.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that maybe it worked out for the best, and someone with a reputation that they value will help you get the pieces you need! |

| Thanks everyone for feeling my pain.
Luckily, I did get a refund and to his credit he put it through quickly. Still wish he'd not tried to change the terms of the deal but considering I got my money back, i'll say it's a win. |
