I just decided to place my figures in a furniture instead of a cabinet, as It was really a nightmare to keep checking the differences and Coos. Whenever I tried to pick up a figure in the cabinet, all other would fall down like in a domino competition ;o)
So I decided to buy an antique furniture from a friend of mine. I placed yellowed fur in the background as on the vintage cards...
It gives me more flexibility to compare the figures. I had not yet the time to place all figures (DV, Stormtroopers) as  it should be.

Interesting idea putting them in the drawers of an old dresser.   Is that 3 VC jawa's I see there.

Yeap 3 are original VC jawa. One of them is the Aussie version (Toltoys)  

I like these architect drawers, if I ever down size my collection from display cases this would be the way I would go. Graded figures would look fab in these in custom made sections. I might even get away with one of these in the main house rather than my 'man-cave'. How cool would that be!

I also went this route once....so did Uli and many others...

But after all I have to say it is a pitty to have them in drawers all the time! 

Let's see when you want to display them again and put them out again

You are fully right! I realized the drawer thing does not work as every single figure is moving back and forth whenever I open the drawer. So they will go back to the glass furniture where they used to be. I will use the drawer for my star wars lego minfigs.
