Does anyone know how to insert an animated GIF on a reply here? I'm a terrible Luddite, I know. Just thought occasional bouncing boobs are a necessity ...

AJ posted a quick guide here : - AussieJames wrote:

right click the gif, a table will show up, down the bottom is 'properties', left click properties, another table shows up, copy the 'address-URL' which should end with 'gif' , paste the URL in the green TV looking thing when you reply to a thread. Hope that made sense?
eg.
I think Alex (General Kahn) has a more in depth post somewhere but I can't remember what thread |

I'd avoid hotlinking (which some site owners dislike because of bandwidth usage). Best to link it via a photo sharing site such as photobucket. Grab the link from your saved Gif and paste it into your post.

yeah, I use Google chrome on my PC. I just right click on the gif, click copy image URL and then paste it into the normal tv box thing that you use to post an image. but i haven't managed to work out how to do it on my phone though  without downloading the image, then uploading it to Photobucket and linking it there. Which is a bit of a hassle and a bit time consuming. Although your right Paul about the use of bandwidth and also links can disappear after a while this way. Problem is though you end up filling your image hosting account with nothing but gifs of bouncing boobs and you have no room left for anything else

yep now you've got the gif in photobucket, click on the IMG tab in the right hand column . it will then say 'copied', then paste into the green tv box thing on your reply toolbar on TIG, like you would to post a pic
