Have been studying the weapons archive and can't make heads or tails as if my stormy Luke blaster is legit or not. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

boy what a shot to the chest when I saw the reply notification pop up.... Had to get up the nerve to open it!

Since this is probably the hardest blaster to match to a figure, the anxiety level is always high

Best advice (to anyone really) is turn on your phones' camera flash and put the blaster in front of it. If you see any color difference (green/blue) then it's not the blaster. That's step 1.

Then , assuming it's all black, look at the deep circle and straight line at the barrel edge and the rear of the blaster. Make sure it's the correct version.

It's solid black. Will look under magnifier for the circle and butt

I've now seen a few dark grey Imperial blasters sold as Luke Stormie blaster ( no light passes through, correct mould etc. ) So I think it's important to compare to known black items ie Protech stand, Palace blaster etc.

My eyes suck, or it may be because it is super early morning for me as I couldn't sleep over yesterday's stuff but all of the stuff in that last pic look the same color to me. Do you have a flash on your camera? Maybe in brighter light I could see the gray vs black.

Some interesting facts and I remember going through this with the Taiwan Boba Fett blaster, sure there was a black grey one although was probably dark blue/grey.
