| Subject: THE TIG WRIST WATCH FETISH THREAD. Sat Dec 14, 2013 10:29 am | |
| Any of you guys have a fetish for watches, since i was a kid ive had a fetish for dive watches, over the years ive bought and even lost a few.
My fav all time dive watch is a citizen JP2000 with the depth gauge, an all time classic citizen and a legend of the dive world, just got a new one to replace my old one, wish i could link a picture up, but im computer illiterate.
I suppose in the new world of mobile phones, many people arnt wearing watches any more.
Any other watch collectors or appreciators here? |

| I love Watches!! Other than a wedding ring I don't wear jewelry so I like a nice watch. I don't have any of the top brands anymore (had to sell them to raise funds, used to have a Breitling that I picked 2nd hand) but I have been saving up for my 40th and its a good excuse for me to buy a Omega Seamaster, I got a Tag Heuer for my 30th My everyday watch is a Casio Ediface Wave ceptor And when I'm running my Scout troop I use a Casio G-Shock This watch is huge and as I have found out with all my other G-Shocks unbreakable I also have a watches from the like of Tissot (it's my dress watch), and one of the first Animal Watches. |

I also have a watches from the like of Tissot (it's my dress watch), and one of the first Animal Watches. Omega seamaster, nice watch, only thing im not keen on is the flimsy looking crown on the 3 oclock position, its a nice dress watch, but spearfishing id rip that crown off accidently, ive done it to 3 good quality dive watches. I like a crown on the 4 or 2 oclock position, surrounded by guards on the case of the watch. Not only for protection of the crown, but if the crowns at the 3 oclock position it tends to dig into your hand and can be very uncomfortable, but as a dress divers the omega is a nice watch, im pretty sure it was used by james bond in most early bond movies. I have a seiko 'tuna can' divers, the same watch bond used in an early movie. If you like G-Shocks, check out the new 'Rangeman' killer watch, it comes in green and black, apparently the best most advanced G-Shock ever made and has been a big seller within the armed forces, its similar to a mudman, has a barometric pressure gauge, digital compass, temp, etc etc, selling for $300 at the cheapest, which is very cheap for a decent watch imo, im no fan of digital watches, but i might get the green model, the Barometric gauge and temp witch can be used underwater has me sold for fishing, i think this will be my first digital watch in 25 years...check it out. Im with you, i love watches, if your going to have something on your wrist you look at many times a day, it might as well be something you love. |
