| Firstly, to TIG Kimberly. With regards to the lightsaber, I have not seen one quite like that before. Elements of it remind me of the Graflex sabers, but theirs are clearly marked. Do you know whether the previous owner bought it as a kit or ready assembled? Hopefully other members will be able to shed more light. If you don't get much response I'll move the thread to the main section, so that it gets more exposure. Steve |

| Thanks for the welcome, my three sons, ages 9, 8 and 5 are Star Wars junkies. They prefer to play only with vintage and collect anything Star Wars The person I bought it from said it was assembled, and he purchased it from a collector's shop and paid $250 1995 or so (I got a much better deal . The blade lights in a way I have never seen before. Appears to have no small bulbs, but illuminate two long strips that almost look like paper?????? Kimberly |

| I think it looks very home made, maybe the warning sticker was taken from a toy lightsaber? |

| Good point on the sticker. It may be a home saber. The overall look I really liked, and if I've never seen a Star Wars item, I buy it. The seller was sure it was not fan made, but very well could. Thanks for the input, Kimberly |

| This looks really familiar. I need to do some digging, but off the top of my head, it looks like one of the Parks sabers.

~ Edit - that is one of the older Parks Lightsabers. They used those RCA jack connectors originally, then moved onto the new design. Not a bad pick up - those are really nice quality pieces, and from what I remember they sold for $250-350 http://www.parksabers.com/ |

| I don't know a whole lot about them, but I was going to say it appears to be made by one of those companies that makes dueling sabers. Seems as though you have your answer though! |
