| I couldn't say for certain how rare the COO is, other than it does appear to be harder to find than the average Hong Kong and no COO versions, so that said, almost certianly one of the harder Chewbacca COO's to find.
I've always wondered where and why this COO fitted/fit's in as the first 20 Star Wars figures are G.M.F.G.I copyrighted, Boba Fett is C.P.G. copyrighted and then all figures from that point are L.F.L. copyrighted. Chewy of course was within the first 20 and bares G.M.F.G.I. and yet strangely this exists. I've always wondered if, maybe they produced a new mold at some later stage for whatever reason and stamped it with the L.F.L. who knows?
This is mine which I paid about 7 quid for a year or so ago. Hope this helps in some way Stef. |

| Sorry Stef it came with a repro (advertised as so) and I added a spare I had later, so I wouldn't know I'm afraid. |

| That's the one, but clearly not the Glasslite one that it proposes it to possibly be, the pouch is a dead give away  |

| Congrats to this Chewbacca. This Kenner one with the Glasslite COO is pretty hard to find, and its really rare in my oppinion.

| This was obviously purchased in the UK, but supposedly came from a bulk buy in the US (depends if you believe the seller?)
For the record this is the same figure from the eBay link above. It popped up in one on my saved eBay searches so I placed a bid on him. However it's a figure I need for a little project so I contacted the seller and paid there asking price to secure the item.

| Worth noting is the two slightly different coo areas that can be found on this figure. Notice the gaps between the 'LFL' and '1977' and the different placements of the '77' same as the GL Chewie. This is one of those figures that some of us used to think could be possibly meccano as he has been found in France but also UK and USA as has been pointed out and i think i have seen them in Germany also so no predominantly french variant imo.  |

| No COO family has just one mold, always 2, 3 or 4, so it was inevitable that a second would exist, and of course the same with Glasslite as molds travel together. |

| This Chewie COO is quite rare in my opinion, it is strange to me that being Chewbacca a popular character prices have not gone up for this variant. As has been said, it is found mostly in Europe.... |
