| Hello everybody, Question for all of you living in Australia. What is there to do in Sydney? My wife has a business trip to Australia this week. Instead of her just winging it I figured I'd reach out you. Any idea's of some cool things to see, have dinner or just to have a drink. Her day's entertaining Sept. 14 and 21 in case theres anything special going on. Thanks in advance, Jason.

| Hey Jason, a couple of great things to do and see here, -Harbour Bridge climb, im told the dusk or dawn climbs are spectaccular on a clear day. -Catch the Manly ferry, from Circular Quay, great views of the harbour, landmarks. -3 sisters in Katoomba, Blue mountains, about an hour north of sydney, but if you like the bush it is well worth the trip. -Darling Harbour, lots to see and a great walk with your partner. -Bondi Beach. -Kiama blowhole, about an hour south of sydney, but on a windy day, it puts on a great show. |

| Cafe Sydney is a great place to eat just near Circular Quay China Town has some great places to eat also - Golden Century is the Shiz !!! http://www.goldencentury.com.au/ If you want a more upmarket experience then this is the GREATEST food I have ever eaten in any Country I have been to - http://www.tetsuyas.com/ The Rocks on the weekend is a buzzing little place that is worth a look as to are the Chinese Gardens.
Certainly head to the Opera House in Circular Quay and have a drink at the Opera Bar and enjoy seeing the Bridge and the Opera house at the same time. And as previously mentioned Darling Harbor is a great place to people watch.
That should keep you busy for a few days !!!

| Hi Jas, heres a few ideas.
Theres plenty of strip joints here in kings cross, plenty of hookers and blow, a few swingers clubs but your missus might not be too keen on that lol.
The botanical gardens is a nice walk here in the city, you could go to Bondi or Manly beach which are both close to the city, theres also an aquarium at manly.
You could hire a kayak in middle harbour and go for an awesome paddle.
Bridge climb, as has been mentioned, so has china town, theres plenty of great places to eat all through sydney.
You could go to the rocks in the heart of the city and do a tour or just check it out yourself.
You could hit up a few local nude beaches, including lady jane.
Darling harbour is ok, theres an IMAX cinima there, a huge Aquarium, big rays n sharks, you can also jump on a jet boat there and go tear up the harbour.
Its a pitty its not in a few months time, i could have taken you out for a few kingfish on the harbour, but they are still coming down from up the coast.
Anyway, hope you have a great time buddy, cheers |
