My first moc as a child was a ROTJ squidhead, it wasn't the first carded figure i had got but it was the first time i thought about not opening the blister because it just looked so good carded.The squid eventually escaped its factory packaging to be played with but it was not easy. As an adul collector i thought i was going to stick to a full loose set and loads of naked jawas until i got a 12 back jawa with a cracked blister and realised i now needed a POTF one as wel to have the first and the last on display together. It must be the way my collector brain works but once you have the first one and the last one it becomes quite easy to find an excuse to hunt for everything in between

My first MOC was Luke Skywalker on a 12-back Clipper card in spring 1978. I was lying sick on the couch and my dad came home making flying noises and ripped the bubble from the card. Still have the cardback and figure.

Mine as a kid was a Yoda orange snake on a Lili Ledy 10 back ESB card which of course was out of the bubble even before getting back home..... BTW I don't know what the hell was I thinking..... That thing would cost thousands now....
As a collector it was a Trilogo Amanaman which turned out to be the Spanish version.... I didn't know by then, I just bought it because it was cool and has been a keeper and one of my collection's favorites since....

The first MOC I had was a Gam Guard I bought as a teenager. I was so proud of that yellow bubble.
