Now that the Xmas period has finish and we have moved into a new year I was wondering if anyone has purchased much vintage in 2010 so far?

To be honest I didn’t get the chance to pick up much in Oct, Nov, Dec 2009 A, due to Xmas and B, the new business meant a restriction on spends.

However in 2010 I have a flurry of activity (especially for me lo) l and have managed to land a number of items I have been after! Some of the items have been picked up in trades, forum purchases and on eBay.

When they all arrive I plan to take a shot of them all and put it in the limelight section

I picked up quite a bit this year so far, 6 MOC, 13 bootlegs (4 more on the way hopefully), 18 cardbacks, 2 sealed mailers, and a few other things. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up quite a few more items in the coming months.

I've done pretty well a month into the new year. I've picked up 3 things already on my WTB list with the Micro Build Your Armies mailer, FX-7 coin, and I have one other thing on the way that I don't want to give away quite yet.

Chris that's a bigger haul than me mate sounds like you have got collecting bug back big time bud which is awesome.

Yes it was Jay. 5 more now, so the end is getting near. An entire set was pieced out on ebay. I would have liked to have won more as some of the prices were pretty good on them. Hopefully the same will happen when another batch shows up.

I had the same resolution as Shawn this year. And so far two months into it, it's officially out the window!

I've picked up 3 Rebel Commandos (65B w/Coin Offer, 65B w/o Coin Offer and 77A w/o Coin Offer), 13 Oscar Cases and 4 Jar-Jar prototypes!

Definitely need to slow down a little and save some coin for C5. Prices have been too good lately though. There's some incredible deals out there right now if look hard enough.

Yhea the bug has bit hard. Just got two loose figures in today, Chewy and Nien. Plus in the works on two other items now with carlos_75. Plus I got my eye on a huge lot on Ebay ATM, but those will probally not come here considering what the others sold for.

Joe, it should be spent to much, in my case anyway. But like Chris said, theres too many good deals out there right now to pass things up.

One is on hold but not set in stone, I am happy to wait for a buyer till end of this month so whatever happens is cool with me!

Hopefully I'll know by early next week. The lot I went after on Ebay went over what I wanted to drop, so that saved the cash there. I'll let you know as soon as I can. I'll take both if the one isn't sold by then.

This about sums up my 2010 so far, too much! Much too much!

2010 is going to be the year of smaller quanity but higher quality for me. I'm going to concentrate on getting a few items but stuff thats off the standard track.
