Everyone,

Today is a great day at TIG, but with a little sadness as well. We have seen this site go through many changes and with it, great results. We have decided to make some personnel changes to keep our site moving forward.

Please join me in congratulating the following people:

Marco (Dr. Dengar) is now promoted to Admin. Marco has been a great help to TIG and his passion has always been there. His most recent button project was just one example of his dedication. He will be helping out behind the scenes while continuing to help out on the boards.

AJ (Aussiejames) has been promoted to Global Moderator. Despite a downright creepy Ewok fetish, he's very level headed and his time as a moderator has given him great insight. He's a great person to help out the newer guys, and always lends a hand.

Steve (Cantina_Patron) is moving into the ranks as a moderator. Steve has passion to spare, and contributes in so many fashions. His attitude is always top notch and will do a great job keeping things smooth.

James (Ourchickenshack) is also joining the rank as moderator. James' quirky sense of humor is contagious and he's always around to keep it light. I took forward to seeing him "infect" everyone over the coming month.

It's with our deepest thanks that we see Tim (Tank1252) retire from the moderator team. Tim is literally the second member of TIG. He has been nothing short of a great collector, moderator and most importantly friend.

On the Developer side of the house, we announce:

Fred (Thargoil) is rising to rank of developer. Fred is the graphic artist behind the TIG button set. We are planning on revamping the TIG store and offering members some great things. I look forward to Fred's contributions.

Stef (Walkie) is going to also join the ranks. After showing his chops on the Droids guide, we saw that he had the stuff. We are all excited to see what's ahead.

Lee (Lee M) is joining the team too, as his highly anticipated guide comes to fruition.

Like Tim, we want to thank Chris J for all his hard work. The FOTW thread was nothing short of epic and his contributions have always been great. We hope to see Chris still active on the forum.

After much negotiating I was retain my Mop and Bucket and stay as janitor. I'm stoked.

Please join me in welcoming everyone and saying thanks!!!

Just wanted to say a quick "Congrats" to everyone on their new promotions!

Congrats all around. And all of these guys really have shown they deserve the promotions. I havent been around that long but I have seen some fantastic contributions from all of these individuals and have been helped by almost every one of them at one time or another.

Looking forward to another fantastic year at TIG.

as for Tim, hate to see him step down. he was a great mod during his time. as for me, i know it was kinda hard for me to decide it once again, but like i told John, i got enough to deal with so as it is offline compared to online. i thought i could put 1000% back into it like i wanted to do as a distraction of things, but it kept getting worse as the days went on and couldnt do it. looking forward to the new guys work and if you 2 want, get ahold of me and ill toss the plans i have i wanted to do here to you two. ill give you all the details i got in my twisted fragile mind.   so with that, i do have to say, until things start going better around me, i might not be around much at all unless i get a pm. one day i might be back with a vengeance, so be prepared for it.

There are some great additions being made to TIG, congrats guys, the site is in very good hands. And thanks to Tim and Chris for their service!

Sad to see you step aside Chris, blessings to you on the home front, thanks for all youve done here and for being a top shelf guy and seller, my deals with you have been a total pleasure and your unarts sit proudly in my collection, it will be sad not to see you round here buddy, good luck with your lovely GF mate.

Congratulations to the new positions for a whole bunch of people. Welcome to those who haven't been part of the team before.

I can't help but wonder about the all the changes in the moderation team. There have been a lot of changes the last year. I know everyone has there own reason for making a change and take a step back, but I'm concerned that there are too many changes in a short period of time.

I simly wanted to say thank you to the all this nice people around keeping his forum alive and interesting!

I'll address that, is not really anything sinister.

Tim stepping down is for a good thing. He's concentrating on his FB group for coin collectors. He's doing a great job and its got a wonderful following.

Chris was an admin who left due to time. Shawn left during that empty period when Jay left the site without direction. During that time even I thought about leaving.

As for developers, it's usually for specific products or guides, so turnover naturally occurs by design.

Congrats to all the new mods and devs. It's nice to see James, Steve, Stefan, Lee, & Fred make the leap to management. Congrats to James (AJ) and Marco for their promotions as well. And a big thanks to Tim and Chris for all their hard work. Hopefully they can chime in every once in a while when called upon.
