| I was going through some vintage brochures/leaflets I have home. Looking closely I spotted a few interesting prototypes. (or errors displaying the figures) . I make a few pics, hope the quality is good enough. Most of the advanced collectors on TIG probably already know them but I thought it would be fun to share them again. Lando General with blue cape; snowtrooper with neck cape; Burgundy Cape Squid Head handpainted boots Interesting Bespin Luke and white scarfed (or w/ white shirt) bespin security guard A-wing prototype I am sure there is plenty more.... |

| Man I love that Swedish poster!! The Kenner Catalogues show many different prototypes that were changed before they were released. From the POTF line they show blue cape Lando General, Charcoal robes Anakin, metallic coloured EV-9D9, A-Wing pilot with brown helmet straps. The blue cape Lando General is actually more light purple in colour and looks to be the same as my first shot Lando. I had always presumed that the pictures showed hard copies or protomolds however I have never seen another another Lando General with a blue/purple cape other than mine. By the way I think you mean black cape squid head rather than burgundy cape (which is a Lili Ledy variant). The black cape squid head with gold belt is I believe a protomold. |

| The 5th image down has always been a favourite of mine, it's the same as on the back of the Palitoy 30 Back A: Like Psy said, the image is reversed so there all holding weapons in the wrong hands (which is also the case on the Skiff black cape Squid pic), and interestingly, as has pretty much been pointed out, every single figure has some kind of aditional paint app: - Han Hoth - white boot strps, black belt, diferent hood paint - Bespin Guard - White collar, black boots - Bespin Leia - Black shoes, black hair! - Lando - Blck shoes - FX-7 - Black arm band, additional black marks on his base - Bossk - Black boot tops and bit's on his legs - Snowtrooper - Extra black on shoulders and wrists, and wrong gun - Rebel Soldier - White boot straps, brown wrist bands - IG-88 - Black elbows - Bespin Luke - Silver buckle, Light boot straps. The bespin luke looks like a protomold, the head is very different from any production model, also the lightsaber appears to be just a yellow stick. My personal favourite bit though is Bossk who, if he's not careful is likely to blow his own shoulder off!!! |

That's an awesome pic, I always wondered, it's only the Bespin LUke I relly noticed looked different (mainly because I've seen so many of them) A genuinely great pic though that, it's nice to see a Bespin Luke prototype of any kind, they seem few and far between. Where is the pic from Oli? If it's from your collection, I'll trade you my wife for the Luke!!! She cleans every once in a while and makes a nice stir fry?? Interested? |

I don't know who unearthed that find. Yes not too many Luke Bespin prototypes about - they're all in Grants collection no doubt |

- Depends on shipping costs mate!
I'd say, simply the price of a one way train ticket to London, but trains have toilets, which can be hidden in to avert the ticket cost, and also I like Pepperami.... So, say 75p for a Pepperami fire stick and she's your's chief |
