| Since I'm going on vacation on Monday, I ought to soon have a little more time for the hobby. An updated Poch limelight could be an option but judged on the (at times) limited interest in Marco's Poch/PBP thread here I honestly don't know, if it's worth all the time and troubles doing the limelight. If it's only the same five or six guys, whom I discuss Poch variants with on regular or less regular basis anyway, I could as well send these pics straight to their e-mail addresses instead. I have Poch figures, which are both controversial/undocumented as well as unknown to some variant collectors, so these will for sure be object for discussion. This could be a great way of increasing collectors interest in the Poch variants, but again it's no fun, if it's only the same few guys being interested in discussing these. There are so many unique paint variants within the Poch line of figures, but at times it seems like that peope have lost interest in them, because there are a lot of mixed up stuff/figures making Poch collecting a both difficult & frustrating at times. BUT we have come SO far within the past few years. Lots of new Poch variants have been discovered (and documented), and some of us have a very clear picture by now, what is true Poch and what is not. Such work will however never be completed, so Poch figures would still need to be researched for the years to come. This is both a time demanding and expensive project, so I admire those collectors, who have spent tons of money purchasing childhood lots of figures in Spain. Not solely for the own sake but also for the sake of the research which other variant collectors will benifit from. To sum things up: Is it time for a limelight thread displaying these (for me) small treasures? Of course my Poch collection is probably far from being complete, but I most likely have more Poch figure sin my collection than most non Spanish collectors. Therefore I'll gladly share these with you guys, IF there is a genuine interest for this. |

| I could challenge you... Can you beat this?? ...no...of course I cannt challenge you Well I want to see this for ages! I can see people are running away from the subject (POCH). Becuase there never was so much money, false information, speculations and competition involved in any loose collection subject..... You have to live with disbelievers, people that are just fed up with the theme and people who dont get it but still respect the wrok and dedication that went into this!! Kenneth my friend. A limelight is sth you first of all should do for yourself! If you are complete (I am guessing you are) then its kind of a good way for yourself to celebrate the long and hard route you have gone. I love to gather those from the cabins...and pictures them and afterwards putting those back. So...what are you waiting for??? |

| Wolff my buddy, I have so much to thank you for! I still recall the first pic that you sent me of your first Poch figures around three years ago including some - for me - totally unknown Poch variants with unique paint applications (WBG, Leia Bespin, Luke X-Wing Pilot etc). I was stunned when you told me, that there were 37 different Poch characters with possible variants wihin these. From that day I was totally determined to get a complete set. When I (hopefully) complete a deal next week for some of the last missing figures, I'll have as well as all the Poch figure variants, which I'm familiar with. I don't need to do the limelight for myself in order to earn credit for it or similar. It's enough for me to know, how much Work and money I have invested in this. I'm being proud of myself, because I have been so dedicated but without the help from other guys - especially you, I would never have come this far. I have spend many hours discussing Poch variants with you and Marco. Sharing pics also etc. I of course understand & respect, that not all collectors can see the same beauty in Poch collecting, as I can. I also acknowledge and agree with you, that the questionable/undocumented Poch variants being sold at insane prices at some point was damaging for the general interest. I just hate all this negativity and sceptism surrounding Poch collecting. In all circumstances you and Marco will be the first persons to receive my limelight pics no matter if they will be published here in my Poch limelight thread or not. And yeah I can beat your Poch Collection in terms of the amount of figures, that I owe The fact that you can beat me in everything else vintage star wars wise is another story... |

| Kenneth I would kill to see your Spanish figures limelight. I am sure you have many gems in there. My opinion is that not many collectors can actually tell a true Poch figure when they see one, I know I am one of them, its a tricky area of our hobby, so any info is gold. I agree with Wolff, do your limelight to celebrate what im sure is a very unique collection. |

| Please..... !! I think you'd be amazed how many of us would be interested. I can't speak for other collectors but I'm guessing there are many of us that just don't have the knowledge on how to spot POCH items in the wild so trying to build up a collection is near impossible. I'm all eyes and ears, and eager to learn |

I think it obviously will look fantastic and also be very informative!!! I admit my initial interests were only Leia Bespin, but I am just starting to move on from her and eager to start getting into some other nice POCH and PBP variants like Luke farmboy, X-Wing and Bespin and who knows what else!! The guide here and Wolff's stuff rock, but I want to also see and learn more from you. So please go for it my friend! OH and 300 DAYS 3 HOURS 20 MINUTES to Anaheim! cheers! |

| Bring it on mate....
Your passion and enthusiasm for these poch variants is second to none. There is indeed still a lot of scepticism around this area of collecting, but you have put a lot of time and effort into buying, collecting and documenting these variants to make a difference, open people's eyes in some cases and help other collector's to gain knowledge and understanding. Poch isn't everyone's cup of tea but anyone who is willing to dig deep into this or any other relatively new/unknown collecting arena like you have gets a big pat on the back from me....
