| I have never removed a price sticker off any of my items, besides one off my daughter's Padme MOC.... but I just bought a Leia for my youngest (ROTJ Combat Pancho) for a pretty good price, but the sticker was removed which I know is a big no-no. Didn't do any damage to the card besides leaving a spot where the glue from the sticker. How much does this take away from it's value? Not that it matters, because unless I 'trade up' at some point these are not going anywhere... they are for my girls. Thanks for any info & have a great weekend!!! |

| The glue reside will affect the value a little. If you wanted to try and remove it, I've found that lighter petrol works well in most cases. |

| No don't do that! I dip a cotton bud into the fluid and dab it onto a small area of glue. After a few seconds the glue should soften. I then gently wipe the area with the cotton bud (keeping it moist with petrol) to remove the glue. This is then repeated until it has all gone. Finally I wipe over the area with a soft dry tissue. Don't rub too hard as the ink may bleed onto the cotton bud, or you may damage the surface of the card if it gets too wet. Yours doesn't look too bad. If your not confident about trying this, please don't. It's not risk free & I would not want to be held responsible if it goes wrong. Also bear in mind some glues can't be removed using this method. You may also want to wait until you get input from other members. Best of luck if you do decide to try it. |

| Thanks everyone. I'll give it a try on one of the modern figures first to see how it turns out and take 'baby steps' when the Leia gets here. Let you know! |

| I'm thinking he means cigarette lighter fluid. Oooooooor you could just take Leia off the card and throw the card away. No more glue residue. ^ This is TishomingoSith thinking "Why in hell do they let him in here??" |

Word to the wise, be VERY careful as people have said. You can do a lot of damage.
Ive actually used baby wipes with some success. I've also used them to get glue off the cards with success as well (might as well make the joke before someone else does) |

| Since it's only a ROTJ Leia, I probably won't try anything. Once I get her this week, I'll add it to the recent purchase thread. One of these days, I'll get out of collection just ROTJ MOCs! |

| It's not too bad at all. Honestly you might want to try a baby wipe. It might do it with little effort.
But I'll say again if you don't mind it, leave it alone |
