| Hi, I have 2 fantastic condition Yoda's (3 in fact) and 'm looking for help on identifying if I possibly have 2 Lili Ledy Yoda's, or not. I've read the thread on it and just can not come to a conclusion. The 2 in question are on the left, compared against the Kenner Orange snake. I've read Ozio's info on these and the snakes, canes and belts have the required circles/dots where they should. The snakes (light brown one and a khaki/brown/green one) have circles on the head. The canes have the circles and the belts have them on the sabre and pouches. Also the fastner protrudes at the back: If I understand correctly what I've read the thread states a LL should have these moulded laces around their waist's (which are closer together than the Kenner?), the COO #3 on their backs with the large C prior to 1980, and their darker green colour to the Kenner (but lighter than the regular darker green LL) and that this indicate it's an LL Hong Kong version. But... they have dark brown eyes. So all the accessories, the mouldings, the COO and the colour all seem to say they are LL's but not the eyes. And there are not ones similar to mine in the thread as a comparison to state mine are Kenners. Any thoughts please and thank you Trooper |

| Hi Trooper and welcome There are many people that can answer your question more precisely than I could but I wanted to add a photo of my Lili Ledy Yoda. I also did want to point out something that is unique to this fello...his paint likes to come off easy, as if he was just painted...it's sticky. My yoda has green paint on the inside of his sleeve and fuzzy white hfabric from his cloak stuck to his feet from the paint; Here is a link to the TIG COO page too; Scroll down and look at the COO for YODA. http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/COO-GUIDE-h21.htm#Yoda I cannot answer for the Belt/Cane or Snake. More experienced guys can though. Cheers and welcome again!!!!! |

| Hi Trooper, those yoda you have there are known kenner examples, with COO#3. Please take a look here to the YODA description from the LL thread, there you will find that those circular marks (ejection points) on belt, canes & snakes are not exclusive from Lili Ledy: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t2135p915-the-lili-ledy-discussion-thread-part-1#Yoda Scroll down a bit and you'll find one figure like yours: This one came from a Kenner baggie and has COO#3. Hope this helps. Cheers Ozio |

| Hi Tropper and Wellcome aboards. I think you should look -also-at color of the plastic's head. The LL yodas from the ROTJ era have ALLWAYS dark green and shinny head, i would say your examples have medium gray-greenish head which is typical Kenner. Hope this help. Enjoy the site! Thanks Javi |

| Hi Guys,
Wow you guys are great - I've definitely joined the right site and forum.
Thank you all very much, that has cleared it up very quickly. Now I know the COO #3 and circles/dots/protruding belt are not exclusive to LL, which I thought they were.
Thanks again for such quick replies and help from you all.

| Hi again,
I forgot to ask.... in your opinions are the Kenner Yoda's with COO#3 and the circles/dots on the accessories rare, rare..ish or not really? I have 2 of them which could indicate not but maybe I just got lucky.
Thanks again for your help.

Trooper If you have 2 the same out of 3 I'd give you a 66.6666% chance of them not being rare(ish) But i flunked math (not really). |

But i flunked math (not really). Well your math is spot on as they do indeed represent 66.66666% of the Yoda's in my possession but..... it's still perfectly possible they could be 2 of only a handful in existance (doubt it very much at all) and I just happened to own two of them Of course I'm just dreaming now.... |

Many thanks for this, really interesting and useful. So it seems the Kenner ones I have with COO #3 are quite uncommon which is nice to know. Also they can be subject to colour degredation so to have them in the almost mint condition I have must be even harder to find. I feel pretty greedy now as I have 2 in superb condition... thanks again Trooper |
